At the Metaxas Wine Estate we operate locally, but we think globally. So you can order wines online from our own OnlineWine Shop and have them delivered right to your door.
The Metaxas Wine Estate is not the biggest wine producer on Kefalonia, Greece. And you' re not going to find our wines in every supermarket, restaurant or taverna on Kefalonia, either.
We are a family run boutique winery, NOT an industry... Wines produced in the Metaxas Wine Estate are in small numbers and our total production varies around the 50.000 bottles mark. So, we cannot possibly flood the world markets with wines from the Metaxas Wine Estate.
But, the wines we produce at the Metaxas Wine Estate (as you'll discover going through the comments in our Visitors book) are "fine", "exclusive", "unique", "different", "real" and "better value for money" than the average wines that everybody else and his dog can find on Kefalonia, or back home.
